I felt the first image I took of the Condor Express in Trainz was a bit hard to see so I decided to take another one and do a bit of editing :)

"In the late 50's the Metrovick's were allocated to the overnight London to Glasgow 'Condor' Express Freight service. Two of them double-headed the train at the time but as time went on other more reliable engines took over their duties. The Class 28 while a rather unique and interesting design was unfortunately not very reliable so they never managed to outlive the very steam engines they were intended to replace and were all but gone by the end of steam."

I personally prefer day-time shots in trainz as it can be difficult to get a decent shot but due to the nature of the train depicted; a night time shot was the best choice.

Heh, at least one has survived... though it's taking a long time to be restored.

Yeah raising money is often a major issue for these things; hopefully they can raise the money to get it up and running soon. It can be quite expensive just to move an engine to it's new home by lorry etc

I heard they're raising money with this DLC thing for MSTS, I don't use MSTS though.

Surely you would know British trains run on the LEFT?

It's a shame that the Condor session in TC3 and Settle & Carlisle add-on use two class 24's. At least it gives a reason to use Class 24 diesels instead of the MetroVicks.

Of course I know that but it's not unheard of for trains to sometimes go on the other line if one line happens to be blocked or something. I like to vary things a bit.

And yes it's a shame that no Metrovicks are in that session as they were quite iconic in a sense :)

I just like nitpicking the hell out of everything. :)

Yeah it happens. Interestingly at my local station the train is often on the right till it reaches the points to cross to the left :)

At Rosewood station, 2h 30min away from me by rail, the train crosses to the right platform to load and unload as there is no footbridge. And the coal trains also pass any train at the station on the right.
